Labelle Marvin, Inc., (LMI) is the full-service civil engineering firm headquartered in Santa Ana, California, that specializes in all pavement related projects with over 40 years serving local and state cleints. Founded as LaBelle and Associates in 1969 by Francis F. LaBelle, LaBelle Consultants and ultimately LaBelle Marvin, Inc., by Mr. Steven R. Marvin.

Mr. Steven R. Marvin P.E., currently president of LMI, has received numerous honors for his work with asphalt concrete and teaches at local Colleges and Universities along with conducting seminars for pavement and material design. Steven R. Marvin, P.E., has more than forty years of experience in the area of pavement engineering. Mr. Marvin oversees final quality control for all field and laboratory data including construction inspections, pavement evaluations, and final engineering reports.

We employ certified field inspectors, materials technicians, civil engineers, geophysical and GIS specialists, and land surveyors. 50%-60% of our work comes to us from local and state agencies, 30%-40% from privately owned and managed properties, 10%-20% from neighboring engineers and laboratories, and 10% from others. A large majority, approx. 85%, of our work comes to us from existing clients, which speaks to the quality of our staff and deliverables.
